Rich link previews
fix.vg builds a compact preview around the public post context: author identity, handle, text, quoted content, reply context, publication time, post statistics, and canonical source link. The preview adapts to the client requesting it so chat apps and crawlers can render the information they support.
Images, video, and galleries
Supported posts can include images, animated media, video posters, and playable video streams. Multi-image posts expose individual pages so a shared link can focus on a specific attachment.
Gallery pages use a numeric suffix:

https://fix.vg/x.com/username/status/POST_ID/3The current gallery-aware providers are Instagram, Threads, X, and Weibo. The img_index query parameter selects an individual image when a client needs an attachment-specific view.
TikTok links accept ?hq=true for the preferred high-quality video rendition when the source makes one available.
Translation
Add a language subdomain to request a translated post body:

https://zh-tw-ai.fix.vg/threads.com/@username/post/POST_IDTranslation applies to supported post and quote text. The preview keeps the original language and original quote text available alongside the translated copy when the source provides enough context.
AI signals
Use ai.fix.vg for AI analysis of supported post text and attached images or video:

Discord component previews (beta)
Discord component previews are still in testing, so they only render on a beta hostname:

ActivityPub compatibility
fix.vg can expose supported posts as ActivityPub-compatible status payloads. This gives compatible clients structured access to the author, text, quoted context, timestamps, media attachments, and engagement data.
The compatibility layer covers status-capable providers across the provider list, including X, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Weibo, RedNote, Douyin, Linux.do, Weverse, and GitHub.
Theme-aware previews
Preview pages use provider and media colors to give each source a recognizable presentation. Cover images, author avatars, media posters, and source icons appear when available, with accessible text metadata for clients that prioritize it.
Tenor search links
fix.vg includes compact Tenor search links that resolve a search query to a shareable GIF result:
